East Coast

During the special Lunar New Year Holiday in February 2005 we went away with some friends to an East Coast resort called BaeGam Hot Spring. The snow and the cold made the car very dirty, so one day Rinze and Jeong Jang Hae decided to wash it. with a hose pipe near the hotel.
It was our first experience of swimming in an indoor pool in Korea. Rinze was upset because he had to wear a swimming cap.
Another first was sleeping on thick mats on the floor. You can see from the photo there was no bed! We got used to it very quickly as the floor was warm and cosy.
